Frigg's handmaiden and confidante. Carries Frigg's casket.

Fulla (Old Norse Fulla) is Frigg's handmaiden and closest confidante. According to Gylfaginning 35 she carries Frigg's casket (eski), knows her secrets, and shares her counsel. Snorri describes her as a maiden with loose hair and a golden band around her forehead.

Nanna sent a finger-ring to Fulla from Hel as a gift (Gylfaginning 49), underscoring her close bond to the foremost of the Asynjur. Fulla is mentioned in the Second Merseburg Charm (as Volla), a continental Germanic source suggesting the figure had distribution beyond Scandinavia. Beyond these brief references her mythological role is limited in the surviving sources.
